Requirements for Riders Under 18: Our insurance carrier, and common sense require a parent or legal guardian to sign up a minor rider. For legal purposes, we need a liability release and a minor release form filled out by the parent every time you come to MOTOLAND. For safety sake, you need your parent with you in case you're hurt and need medical treatment.If you're not 18 years old, your parent must be here to sign you up, and must stay while you're riding. If your parent can't attend, you can bring a NOTARIZED consent form from your parent, assigning another adult as your temporary guardian for the day. They must stay with you while you are riding. We can't accept the form if it's not notarized (due to insurance requirements). "My son Sam Jones has my permission to ride motocross at MOTOLAND on January 1, 2008. In addition, I authorize John Smith [an adult] to be my son's legal guardian on January 1, 2008, to sign all liability, release and registration forms at the track and to give consent for medical treatment if needed."__________________________ parent or guardian signature __________________________ notary public signature and seal Every race and practice day we seem to turn someone away because he or she didn't bring a parent and didn't come prepared with the proper form (s).
